Maybe I left out some of why I wanted to begin this blog and let my feelings come out on how I view Freemasonry right now. For the record, I’m not active anymore, and with all this hatred, I’m not sure I’ll ever go back to it. Not that I’m against Freemasonry, it’s just that the organized part of it holds nothing for me right now.
I’ve talked to PDDGM’s, and guys from other lodges. While I’ve been assured I’d be welcomed back, I’d be uncomfortable, since everyone would know I came from Franklin Circle/Halcyon originally, even though I had nothing to do with them for a while. I feel there’d always be someone who’d hold it against me that I was raised by them. There are still a lot of bad vibes, mostly because of people not hearing the facts – from either side, although I’ve got to admit, the 22nd guys haven’t leaked anything, versus the constant spewing by their selected spokesperson.
The only reason you’re hearing from me now is that I got tired of being lied to and then told to shut up about what really went on. Can’t ask a question, especially when it hits close to home, I guess. Too bad too, since there were some really good guys there before it went haywire. But since I’m not into beating or following, I guess it’s just as well.
Why not go back to the new and improved Halcyon? Lots of reasons. Mainly two things for me. One is the aggressive vibes, from specific people you hear from everyday online to the building itself. The other is all this new-agey stuff. So, just so everyone out there knows, not everyone is all happy about this new orient stuff. For me, I’m just going to say that my view of what Freemasonry means to me is that I’m still going to learn and grow, but I don’t think subjects like dowsing, NLP, tarot cards, astrology and alchemy have much to do with what the ritual said to me. If I wanted that I could have bought Amway and tinfoiled my house.
I’m also not into group therapy or homework. I want to read and learn at my own pace, books that I want to read, not these college-level books that are either out of print or out of my price range. The group therapy part really creeps me out the most though. How are you supposed to grow individually when you’re just talking what they want to hear?
I think that personal growth can be achieved on your own, using the disciplines outlined in the ritual I was given. Believe me, for someone who didn’t attend private schools and 10 college, the T & Q are more than enough for me to study and learn from for the rest of my life.

Nice Fishing expedition but it is clear you are not and have never been associated with Halcyon.
Your statement about the Freedom of Information Act is nuts. That document which you posted is nothing more than the charges filed by the GL in January. It has been public info since Jan '08. You hardly need the Freedom of Info Act.
GOUSA does respond to these things because they are not a party to the issue. Much yourself, it is none of your business.
The Grand Orator of whom you speak owes no one, especially a coward who hides his name and cries for truth, any type of statement. What would he say? What would you like to hear him say?
What books are too expensive ...name more than one if they are so numerous.
Group therapy is also silly. How is there group therapy?
As for dowsing, NLT and such...it is clear you have only heard of such things from afar. Never has that been apart the ritual under GOUSA. Certainly a number of member have wide interests and these things become points of conversation.
You are a fraud and seeking truth is the last thing on your mind.
If is so important than who are? You should be able to post your name truthfully.

When you second guess yourself and go against what you know to be your truth, you can easily go off course because you are no longer following your inner compass. By looking inside yourself for the answers to your life’s questions, you are consulting your best guide. Only you can know the how’s and why’s of your life. The answers that you seek can be found when you start answering your own questions.
I'm confused. You say people are telling you mistruths but yet no one will give you information. WHich is it?
If the Halcyon and the GOUSA group does not give you any information or speak with you than it must be the GLofOHIO that is telling you fibs. You should be more clear about who is at fault with the mistruth. Your rants appear to blame Halcyon.
Halcyon is involved with the lawsuit and cannot respond to an on-going suit. I'm certain you are clever enough to understand the prudence in this.
GOUSA has nothing to do with the case or the action that led to the conflict. Why would you want their official position?
Secondly, for someone who wants truth you unfairly post the complaints of one party and then talk about them as if they are facts. They are simply one side's opinion on the matter. Since the court's have not release the other side's response you should not punish them. Maybe you could get their official response to the GLofOH claims with your all powerful Freedom of Information Act or just look on the Cuyahoga County Court website like everyone else.....it as free as the Freedom of Information Act.

Dowsing and NLP?
I have never heard of NLP, and if it was discussed in Lodge, I would surely remember.
Dowsing, the only person who ever mentions Dowsing is Brother Chipps, and never in a Lodge of MM's. Only in conversation outside of Lodge.
Where do you pick up this idea of it being crow barred into the Masonic Lodge?

Yes, Mr. Strawman C, mistruths and lack of information abound. Mistruths – that the Grand Lodge looked the other way the whole time. Not true, I’ve learned since that many meetings that I didn’t attend (before and after I was raised) there were visitors from the district who came to talk and learn. Meetings I attended had visitors also, many who went out of their way to talk to me as well as other members. In speaking with people, they were curious as to how my progress was coming along. They weren’t the ogres you made them out to be. They wanted to talk, but the part that impressed me was that they didn’t talk the way that members of my own lodge did.

I’m very interested to know how members of the Grand Orient of the United States feel about buying something they didn’t know was rotten. I’m also curious to know how Grand Orient of the United States will pay for the lawsuit, as, according to the unofficial Grand Orient of the United States spokesman, Mr. T.C., there will be a LOT of depositions to pay for. I’m also interested in what the Grand Orient of the United States thinks about the apparent total lack of willingness to participate in any and all attempts at a reconciliation effort between the Halcyon-Grand Orient of the United States group and the Grand Lodge of Ohio.

Mr. Straw man C, how was posting the ONLY written documents associated with this situation so unfair to you? Have you not had more than a year to prepare for what you must have known was going to be a fight? Or are you blind enough to think that anyone would allow the Halcyon- Grand Orient of the United States group to just walk off with more than $300k that they don’t have clear title to? Maybe your lawyer didn’t tell you that might have been a reality that you ought to think about, who knows? The facts, Straw man C are that until now, you’ve had the sole side of this argument all to yourselves. Your “unofficial spokesman” of the Halcyon-Grand Orient of the United States group has been all over the internet screaming (and getting tossed off dozens of boards and e-groups for bad behavior). So far, he’s been the ONLY responder to every question, aside from his multiple personalities. Tough to see the other side when you refuse to open your left eye.

I had legitimate questions that hit a little too close to the truth, perhaps. Look around on the blog and see if you can’t spot something you’ve been asked personally T.C., then try to think of who you told something a lot less polite than “shut up”.

@Sec. - How am I ignorant of what's going on at Franklin Circle/Halcyon? Been there, done that, and got the apron - there, actually. Don't see how I'm ignorant, just not going to fall for the "oh, stop on down" jazz and get suckered into helping pay for something I'm not willing to be a part of anymore.
I think the phrase you're trying to offer is "It is the internal, not the external" which I couldn't agree more with. That's why I'm working on that internal being and ignoring the eternal jabs. Try making sure that's spoken of more when your new club gets together at a joint squat next time.
